Ingredients for the recipe:

For pork:

  • 1 tbsp. l paprika
  • Coarse salt and freshly ground pepper
  • 1 tsp light brown sugar
  • 1 tsp ground cumin
  • 1 tsp mustard powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 2 tsp olive oil, and also for greasing the grill
  • 2 small pieces of pork tenderloin (total weight 600 – 700 gr.)
  • 4 ears of corn, peel

For the sauce:

  • 3/4 Art. cider vinegar
  • 3 tbsp. l light brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp. l ketchup
  • 1/2 tsp dried pepper flakes
  • Coarse salt

Recipe preparation:

  1. Marinate meat: mix paprika in a bowl, 2 tsp. salt, 1/2 tsp pepper, brown sugar, cumin, mustard, onion and garlic powder. Grate pork with the mixture and tightly wrap in a plastic bag. Put the meat in the refrigerator and leave to marinate for 3 to 6 hours.
  2. Prepare the sauce: mix vinegar in a saucepan, 1/2 tbsp. water, brown sugar, ketchup, pepper flakes and 1 tsp. salt. Put the stewpan on the stove and heat, stirring, until until the sugar dissolves.
  3. Remove the pork from the refrigerator in 30 minutes. before the beginning cooking. Preheat the grill to a moderately high temperature. Grease the grill rack with olive oil. Put the meat on the grill and fry with direct heat, turning, for 20 minutes. Check meat preparedness by inserting a thermometer into the thickest part of the piece, the thermometer should indicate a temperature of 60 – 63 ° C. Shift meat on a cutting board and leave for 15 minutes.
  4. Meanwhile, grease the corn cobs with olive oil. Put on the grill and fry, turning, for 5 minutes. Slice sliced pork and pour the sauce. Serve with corn.
