Grilled halibut with barbecue oil

Unusually simple and delicious homemade butter recipe will delight you. Butter with barbecue seasonings and with green onions makes the dish especially noteworthy and can also successfully used with other types of fish, shrimp and others seafood. All the ingredients are so harmoniously combined that the recipe does not require any changes. Ingredients for the recipe:

Grilled halibut and aromatic oil

  • 6 halibut fillets (170 g each) approximately 2.5 cm thick.
  • 900 gr. asparagus stripped
  • 1 tsp finely chopped oregano leaves
  • 1 feather green onion, finely chopped
  • 6 tbsp. l (90 gr.) Butter, room temperature
  • 2 tsp barbecue seasonings
  • 1 tsp grated orange zest
  • 1/4 tsp coarse salt, still further as the need
  • 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper

Barbecue seasoning

  • 1.5 tbsp. paprika
  • 3/4 Art. Sahara
  • 3.75 Art. l onion powder
  • Mix all the ingredients in a bowl

Recipe preparation:

  1. Aromatic butter: in a small bowl, using a silicone spatula, combine oregano, chives, butter, barbecue seasoning, orange zest, 1/4 h. l salt and cayenne pepper. Spoon the seasoned butter onto a spoon piece of cling film. Wrap the mixture in it so that without staining hands, form a “log”. Refrigerate at least 30 minutes.
  2. Lighten the grill to a moderate to high temperature. fillet on both sides with olive oil, season with salt and pepper. Grill halibut until the middle is opaque and solid (about 4 minutes on each side).
  3. Grease the asparagus with olive oil, sprinkle with salt and pepper. Grill the stems until they are soft, turning once (generally about 6 minutes). Put the fillet and asparagus on serving plates. Apply a generous tablespoon aromatic butter on halibut.
