Grilled cauliflower with brie sauce and bacon

A simple side dish of grilled cauliflower will get exquisite taste, if served with fragrant brie cheese sauce and bacon. White sauce is prepared on bacon melted during frying and milk, which is thickened with flour and cheese. Ingredients for the recipe:

  • 220 gr smoked bacon chopped on apple chips cubes
  • 1/4 Art. flour
  • 2 tbsp. whole milk
  • 220 gr diced brie cheese
  • 2 tsp coarse salt
  • A pinch of grated nutmeg
  • Rapeseed oil to grease the grill
  • 1 large head of cauliflower, core cut cabbage divide into inflorescences of 4 cm.
  • 1 tbsp. l olive oil
  • Ground black pepper
  • 1 tbsp. l chopped parsley

Recipe preparation:

  1. In a medium-sized frying pan over medium heat, fry bacon until fat is melted and bacon is crispy, 7-8 minutes. Use a slotted spoon to put it out of the pan onto paper towels to drain excess fat. Turn down the heat to moderate then add flour to the melted fat in a pan and beat until obtaining a homogeneous mass. Cook, stirring frequently, until go nutty flavor, 3-4 minutes. Slow jet, constantly whisk, pour in the milk. Beat until smooth. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and cook for another 7-8 minutes. Add brie cheese, 1 tsp. salt and nutmeg. Stir until the cheese will not melt. Add 3/4 bacon and mix. Take off heat and keep warm while cooking cauliflower.
  2. Preheat the grill to moderate heat and grate the grills with a paper towel dipped in rapeseed oil. Sprinkle inflorescences cabbage with olive oil and sprinkle with the remaining 1 tsp. salt and black pepper to taste. Fry the cauliflower until it is browned on all sides, 7-8 minutes. Remove from the grill and lay out on a big dish. Put the bacon mixture on the hot cabbage and brie cheese. Sprinkle with the remaining crispy bacon and parsley.
