Ingredients for the recipe:
- 4 tbsp. l (60 gr.) Butter
- 2 thinly chopped red onions
- 1 thinly chopped onion
- 1 bottle of beer with a volume of 0.33l.
- Grill vegetable oil
- 8 sausages from fresh ground beef with cheese
- 8 wholemeal rye hot dog buns with sesame seeds
- Coarse mustard

Recipe preparation:
- Preheat the charcoal or gas grill to maximum cooking with direct heating. Melt the butter in a large pan with a long handle. Add onions and cook for 10 min., stirring occasionally, until the onion is soft. Pour the mixture with beer, cover the pan with a lid and cook another 10 min Next, remove the lid from the pan and leave the mixture to boil. Cook for 5 minutes. until most of the beer boil away.
- Reduce heat a little and grease grill grates with vegetable oil. Bake sausages for 8-10 minutes, giving 4-5min. each side. Bake hot dog buns until formed crisp. When serving, put each sausage on hot dog bun, on top of which add a little sauce, onion and mustard.
