- 2 cloves of garlic
- 1 beaten egg at room temperature
- 1/4 Art. chopped fresh italian parsley
- 2 tbsp. l olive oil
- 3 tbsp. l dried mint
- 1.5 tbsp. l dried oregano
- 2 tsp coarse salt
- 1.5 tsp ground cumin
- 1 tbsp. l ground cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
Tomato sauce:
- 3 tbsp. l olive oil
- 1 can (710 gr.) Of marinara sauce
- 2 cinnamon sticks
- 1 tbsp. l ground cinnamon

Recipe preparation:
- Cooking couscous: To get 1 cup of finished couscous bring to a boil 1/2 tbsp. water or broth. Add 1/3 Art. couscous and cover the pan with a lid. Remove the pan from the heat and let the mixture stand for 5 minutes until the liquid is completely absorbed. Stir with a fork and let cool. Cooking meatballs: In a large bowl, mix the lamb mince, couscous, spring onions, garlic, egg, parsley, olive oil, peppermint, oregano, salt, cumin, cinnamon and cayenne pepper. Form from minced meat 15-16 meatballs (5 cm in diameter).
- For tomato sauce: In a large skillet with non-stick over medium heat, heat oil. Put meatballs and brown on all sides for about 6 minutes. Add Marinara sauce, cinnamon sticks and ground cinnamon.
