Granola Bars: Video Recipe


A bar of granola with peanut butter – delicious, comfortable, affordable, and most importantly healthy snack. Such bars are their sort of an improved type of muesli or granola. If mixed all dry ingredients in granola and add liquid constituents to as a binder, we get granola. When adding yogurt or ice cream, granola from a light snack turns into unusual dessert!

The most pleasant thing about making such bars at home is that you can add everything you like as dry (nuts on your taste; seeds – flax, sunflower, poppy; spices, dried fruits and berries, etc. ), and from liquid ingredients (fruit puree, honey, peanut butter, melted chocolate, tahini sesame paste, maple syrup, etc.)

  1. Oatmeal (should not be instant) pour onto a baking sheet or any heat-resistant form and bake when 180-190С for 10-15 minutes, periodically mixing.
  2. Warm the nuts in the oven for 180 C (5 minutes), i.e. put in the oven 5 minutes before completing the preparation of oatmeal. Chopped nuts randomly.
  3. Wash dates, free from bone and in several sets (since they are very viscous) grind with a blender (with with a knife).
  4. Mix dry ingredients, including those already cooked in the oven oatmeal and add peanut butter. Then add shredded dates.
  5. Thoroughly mix and compress everything into a single whole, lay out to a suitable shape.
  6. Put in the freezer for 1.5-2 hours. Frozen stratum cut into bars of the right size. You can store at room temperature. Enjoy it!
