Fusilli pasta salad with tomatoes and fresh mozzarella

Sweet ripe tomatoes, fresh mozzarella and fragrant leaves the basilica is a caprese, the culinary symbol of Italy. Ingredients for the recipe:

  • 200 gr. fusilli pastes (spirals)
  • 1/3 Art. olive oil
  • 2 tbsp. l white wine vinegar
  • 1 small shallot, diced
  • 2 tbsp. grape tomatoes cut in half
  • 2 tbsp. diced mozzarella
  • 1 tbsp. torn fresh basil leaves

Recipe preparation:

  1. In a large pan, bring salted water to a boil.
  2. In a large bowl, combine olive oil, vinegar, shallots, 0.5 tsp salt and a little ground black pepper.
  3. Add the fusilli paste to boiling water and cook according to recommendation on the packaging. Drain and rinse the paste under cold water to keep it cool; add to bowl with refueling.
  4. Add tomatoes, mozzarella and basil to the same bowl and mix. Salt and pepper to taste. Pasta salad is better just serve immediately.
