Fried potatoes with bacon

Difficulty: Easy Servings: 4 The recipes use measuring containers with a volume of: one cup (st.) – 240 ml. 3/4 cup (st.) – 180 ml. 1/2 cup (st.) – 120 ml 1/3 cup (st.) – 80 ml. 1/4 cup (st.) – 60 ml. 1tablespoon (tbsp.) – 15 ml. 1 teaspoon (tsp) – 5 ml.

Ingredients for the recipe:

  • 670 gr. cut into four parts small red potatoes with peel
  • 3 sliced bacon
  • 2 tbsp. l olive oil
  • 2 tbsp. l chopped chives

Recipe preparation:

  1. Put potatoes in a medium-sized pot, pour cold water and add a good pinch of salt. Bring to boil, boil for 1 minute, then dry well and set aside side. The potato should be about half ready.
  2. Fry the bacon in a large skillet over medium heat, stirring occasionally until it becomes crispy, about 5 minutes. Transfer the bacon with a slotted spoon to a plate lined with paper towels to dry. Add olive oil to the pan after the bacon and slightly increase the heat.
  3. Put the potatoes with the cut side down. Fry periodically stirring until the potatoes are golden brown and baked for about 15 minutes. Remove from heat and mix with crispy bacon. Generously salt and pepper, sprinkle with chives.
