Recipe preparation:
- Heat a large frying pan to a moderately high temperature. Add ham and fry, stirring, 2 min. Add garlic, thyme and fry for another 30 seconds. Add wine, bring to a boil and continue cooking, about 2 minutes more. Add 1/4 tsp. salt and pepper to taste. Add cream, nutmeg and cook, stirring until the sauce thickens, yet about 3 minutes
- Bring salt water to a boil in a large pan. Add fettuccine paste and cook, as much as indicated on the package, adding asparagus one minute before cooking. Cast out pots 1/2 tbsp. broth, for sauce, drain the rest of the liquid.
- Add cheese to the sauce and mix. Then add the pasta with asparagus and mix again. Add broth and salt as needed and pepper. Spread fettuccine pasta with sauce on plates and sprinkle lots of cheese.
