The recipe for home-made fragrant and delicious noodles with fennel and basil. The noodles are “green” and look very nice when serving. Pine nuts add zest.

  1. Boil the water. Put some salt. Boil the noodles. Fold in a colander and drain the water.
  2. Finely chopped fennel and fry in olive oil on low heat for 10 minutes. Add crushed garlic clove. Salt and pepper. Pour 1 teaspoon of lemon juice.
  3. Grate the cheese. Fennel noodles
  4. Finely chop the basil. Leave a few twigs for decorations.
  5. Chop onions finely and simmer in butter. Add the remaining lemon juice and milk. Boil. Pour grated cheese and melt it. Add basil as well salt and pepper to taste.
  6. Put the noodles in a large bowl. Add fennel. To water the sauce. Mix gently. Put on plates. To sprinkle pine nuts. Garnish with basil leaves.
