Eggplant and cheese casserole

  • 900 g ground beef
  • 2/3 Art. chopped basil
  • 2/3 Art. finely grated parmesan
  • 2/3 Art. canned tomato sauce with basil
  • 1/3 Art. breadcrumbs
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp ground black pepper
  • 3 large cloves of garlic, finely chopped
  • 2 large eggs at room temperature
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped

Eggplant

  • 1/4 Art. l olive oil
  • 1 medium eggplant, trim the stem and the opposite tip, cut into 6-8 circles 1 cm wide.
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp ground black pepper
  • From 1/3 to 3/4 Art. canned tomato sauce with basil, additional portion for serving
  • 1/2 tbsp. whole milk mozzarella, grate coarsely

Recipe preparation:

  1. Preheat the oven to 190 ° C.
