Surely, not every housewife could boast that knows how to cook pastries from potatoes. But it’s not at all difficult. BUT then it’s time to treat your family and friends with something delicious of potatoes.

Potato buns

Ingredients:

1. One hundred and fifty grams of unsalted mashed potatoes.

2. Eighty milliliters of water, the same amount of milk.

3. Seventy grams of butter.

4. Fifty grams of granulated sugar.

5. One teaspoon of salt.

6. One egg.

7. Four hundred and fifty grams of wheat flour.

8. Seven grams of dry yeast.

Cooking Instructions

Milk, water and sugar, as well as salt and butter should mix and heat until warm – the oil should melt. Add mashed potato to the mixture and beat the mass with a mixer in for a couple – three minutes.

Now you need to dilute the yeast in the prepared mixture, add a glass of flour and beat the mixture again until smooth. Gradually add the remaining flour and knead a smooth non-sticky dough. After put it in a bowl, cover with cling film and let come up in a warm place for one hour. The dough should double in size.

Divide the approached dough into eighteen – twenty balls. Roll out a thin cake from each – collect the edges towards the center. Turn the ball with stucco molding down, cover it with your palm and make twenty to thirty circular motions of the hand so as to secure knot.

Put the balls prepared in this way into a large mold and let them come up – they should double. Then on top grease the buns with a beaten egg and bake in a preheated to a hundred ninety degrees oven until golden – on it it will take about half an hour.

Potato pies

To prepare, you will need:

1. Three hundred and fifty grams of mashed potatoes.

2. One onion head.

3. One teaspoon of sage.

4. A pair of eggs.

5. One hundred grams of breadcrumbs.

6. Sunflower oil for frying.

Cooking method

Sauté chopped onion in a little sunflower oil until soft. Mix mashed potato with sage and fried onions, then cool the mass.

From the prepared dough, form pies, size and shape resembling little hamburgers. Dip them in beaten eggs then in breadcrumbs.

Fry in warmed sunflower oil until golden brown colors.

1. Five large potatoes.

2. Half a glass of milk.

3. One egg.

4. Half a kilogram of minced meat.

5. Three carrots.

6. One onion head.

7. Two tablespoons of tomato paste.

8. Half a glass of meat broth.

9. Salt and black pepper.

10. Nutmeg.

11. Sunflower oil.

Cooking Instructions

Fry the minced meat in sunflower oil until crumbly. Then add carrot and onion, diced, tomato paste and meat broth. Salt the mass and pepper to taste. Tomite about ten minutes, and then put in the mold for baking.

Boil the potatoes until cooked. Add milk and egg, salt. Mash in mashed potatoes. Fill the pastry bag with mashed potatoes and figuratively squeeze it over the meat mass. Bake a treat in oven for twenty minutes at a temperature of one hundred eighty degrees.
