Date Truffles

These low-carb sweets are based on dates that are give the dessert all its natural sweetness and give a pleasant taste iris even without the addition of milk and sugar.   • 1 tbsp. water
  • 1 tbsp. l freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp. l agave honey or syrup
  • 2 tbsp. l natural peanut butter with reduced fat content
  • 2 tbsp. l cocoa powder
  • 1 tbsp. l (15 gr.) Butter
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 8 graham whole grain crackers, chopped, about 1 and 1/4 tbsp.
  • 0.5 tbsp. oat flakes not instant

Recipe preparation:

  1. Combine dates, water and lemon in a medium-sized saucepan. the juice. Cook over medium heat, breaking large pieces with a spoon dates until the mixture becomes like a thick paste, 15-20 minutes.
