Tender curd dough for homemade dumplings, cooked on couple, combined with potatoes and cheese as a filling – very tasty and hearty dish. Fine make them for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Tip. Curd for the test should be greasy and not dry. For sweet dumplings add more sugar (2-3 tsp)

  1. Sift the flour. Mix the cottage cheese in the bowl with the egg, salt, sugar and soda.
  2. Then add the flour.
  3. Knead the dough for a short time, which does not stick to your hands, but also soft and tender. Leave for 15 minutes to rest.
  4. We clean the washed potatoes, rinse with cold water, arbitrarily chop and boil in a pan with salted water until tender. We drain the water, mashed potatoes.
  5. Peel the onion from the husk, wash and chop into pieces. Fry the onion until golden brown in a pan with the addition of vegetable and butter.
  6. Combine mashed potatoes with 1/3 of the fried onions, add pepper, filling, mix and cool.
  7. Rub the cheese on a medium grater.
  8. We rest the rested curd dough, divide into parts and roll cakes. We cut circles in flat cakes put in the center of each circle a potato filling (1 ч.л.), поверх начинки щепотку натертого сыра и защипываем вареники.
