Recipes used. volumetric containers: 1 cup (tbsp.) – 240 ml. 3/4 cup (st.) – 180 ml. 1/2 cup (tbsp.) – 120 ml. 1/3 cup (st.) – 80 ml. 1/4 cup (st.) – 60 ml. 1 tablespoon (tbsp.) – 15 ml. 1teaspoon (tsp) – 5 ml.

- 1 bunch of young turnip turnip, turnip peeled and cut into four parts, chop the tops
- 1/2 tbsp. frozen or canned green beans Lima
- 3/4 Art. instant corn grits
- 1 tbsp. l (15 gr.) Butter

Recipe preparation:
- Bring to a boil a pan with 4 cups of salted water, add turnips and cook, 5 minutes. Add tops and lima beans, cook another 2 minutes. Take out vegetables using a slotted spoon and put in a bowl. Add corn grits to the water and cook, stirring until thickened, 5 minutes. Transfer corn porridge to bowl to vegetables and add butter, season with salt and pepper to taste.
