Cold noodles with peanuts and sesame seeds

Ingredients for the recipe:

  • 350 gr flat egg chinese noodles
  • 2.5 cm peeled ginger slice
  • 1 small clove of garlic
  • 2 carrots, grated
  • Coarse salt
  • 3/4 Art. strong brewed green tea
  • 1/3 Art. natural peanut butter
  • 1/4 Art. soy sauce
  • 1/4 Art. rice vinegar (without seasoning)
  • 3 tbsp. l light brown sugar
  • 1/4 Art. peanut butter for frying
  • 2 tbsp. l toasted sesame seeds and some more for decoration
  • 1 tsp hot chili sauce with garlic
  • 1 tsp dark sesame oil

Recipe preparation:

  1. Cook the noodles: bring a large pot of water to boiling. Add the noodles and cook as indicated on the package. Water drain.
  2. Meanwhile, prepare the sauce: mix in a blender green tea, peanut butter, soy sauce, vinegar, brown sugar and peanut butter. Add sesame seeds, chili sauce and garlic, sesame oil, ginger, garlic and 1/4 tsp. salt. Grind until smooth.
  3. In a large bowl, mix the noodles with peanut sauce and carrots. Cool for 1 hour. Sprinkle with cilantro, peanuts and seeds sesame seeds.
