- Remove the zest thinly from the oranges using a peeler. We don’t throw out the zest, it is still useful.
- We cut oranges into large pieces, about 8 parts. Be sure to remove the bones! Pour sugar, leave on 2 hours.
- Squeeze juice out of lemons, remove seeds, add juice to oranges.
- Squeezed lemons cut into small strips, put in a pan, pour 1 liter of water and put on fire. 5 minutes after boiling remove from heat and pour water. Fill with fresh water, cook until soft lemons 1-1.5 hours
- Strain lemon broth with oranges, add cinnamon and vanilla. Lemons can be thrown away, they are no longer needed.
- Put the oranges on the stove and cook over low heat for 1.5 hours. After we take out the cinnamon stick and chop the oranges by submersion a blender. Cut the orange zest into small strips and send to cook. Bring the jam to a boil again, remove from heat.
- We put the finished jam on sterilized jars.
