Citrus Braised Carrots

Measured containers are used in recipes. volume: 1 cup (st.) – 240 ml. 3/4 cup (st.) – 180 ml. 1/2 cups (st.) – 120 ml. 1/3 cup (st.) – 80 ml. 1/4 cup (Art.) – 60 ml. 1 tablespoon (tbsp.) – 15 ml. 1 teaspoon (tsp) – 5 ml.

Ingredients for the recipe:

  • 5 tbsp. grated carrots
  • 1 lemon, cut the zest with a vegetable knife and chop finely stripes
  • 1 orange, cut the zest with a vegetable knife and chop finely stripes
  • 3/4 Art. cider vinegar
  • 1.5 tbsp. water
  • 3/4 Art. Sahara
  • 1.5 tsp crushed coriander seeds
  • 1.5 tsp mustard seed
  • 1.5 tsp salt

Recipe preparation:

  1. Bring apple cider vinegar and water to a boil in a saucepan. Then reduce heat, add orange and lemon juices, grated carrots, sugar, coriander and mustard seeds. Cook at medium temperature until thickened, approximately 45 minutes
