Ingredients for the recipe:

  • 350 gr concentrated milk
  • 1 head of broccoli cabbage
  • 1 small onion, cut into crumbs
  • 1 medium red peeled potato, chopped cubes
  • 1/4 Art. flour
  • 3 tbsp. lightly salted chicken or vegetable broth
  • 1/4 tsp grated fresh nutmeg
  • 1 tbsp. grated very sharp cheddar
  • 1 tsp worcestershire sauce
  • Coarse salt and freshly ground black pepper
  • 2 feathers of green onions, thinly cut into ringlets

Recipe preparation:

  1. Broccoli cabbage to separate the buds from the stem, small buds set aside for decoration; peel and finely chop the stem, coarsely cut the remaining buds.
  2. Fry the onions, potatoes and stalk of broccoli over medium heat, stirring until soft, 7 – 10 minutes. Add flour, lightly fry, about 2 min Pour in chicken stock, and bring to a boil. Reduce temperature, and simmer at a slow boil, stirring occasionally, until thickening and softness of vegetables, 12 – 15 min.
  3. Place small buds in a pan and pour 1/2 tbsp. water, boil. Cover and cook until tender, about 5 minutes Mix all ingredients, remove pan from slabs. Stir in nutmeg, Worcestershire sauce, concentrated milk and cheddar cheese. Season with salt and pepper, sprinkle with green onions on top.
