Chicken in batter

  • 1 chicken cut into 16 pieces
  • 1 tbsp. l coarse salt
  • 2 tsp ground black pepper
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tbsp. hot sauce
  • 1/2 tbsp. yogurt
  • 3 large eggs
  • Peanut butter for frying
  • 2.5 tbsp. flour
  • Special equipment: cooking thermometer

Recipe preparation:

  1. Sprinkle chicken on both sides with salt, pepper and garlic powder. In a bowl large enough to fit all the pieces chicken, beat together hot sauce, yogurt and eggs. Add chicken and shake to mix. Cover and marinate in refrigerator for 2-4 hours.
  2. Pour 5 cm thick peanut butter into a large cauldron, and heat to 180 ⁰C. Chop the pieces of chicken in flour so that it covered them evenly. Transfer them to hot oil, cover cover and let fry for 5 minutes. Remove the cover and turn them over. Cook without cover for another 5 minutes.
  3. Preheat the oven to 230 ° C. Place the pieces on a baking sheet. Bake for 10 minutes. Serve right away, hot.
