Ingredients for the recipe:

  • 680 gr. minced beef
  • 2 tsp seasoning old bay (seasoning for crab)
  • 2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tbsp. l vegetable oil
  • 8 slices of cheese
  • 4 English muffins (unsweetened yeast buns fried on in the pan)
  • 1/4 Art. Dijon mustard
  • 3 tbsp. l finely chopped pickled cucumbers, plus 2 tsp. brine
  • Small lettuce, chopped tomatoes and potato serving chips

Recipe preparation:

  1. Combine the minced meat, seasoning mixture and Worcestershire sauce in a medium bowl and mix by hand. Form 8 very thin cutlets and a little salt and pepper.
  2. Heat 1 tbsp. l vegetable oil in a large pan on moderately high fire. Put 4 cutlets and fry until brown color about 2 min. Flip over, lay on top of each cutlets a piece of cheese and fry until the cheese begins to melt, about 1 min Put on a large plate and cover with foil; wipe the pan. Add 1 tbsp. l vegetable oil and repeat with the remaining patties and cheese.
  3. Sauté the English buns a bit (optional). Mix Dijones, chopped cucumbers and pickle in a small bowl. Lay out on lower bun lettuce, 2 meatballs, tomato slices and mixture from dijones and cucumbers. Cover with the second part of the bun. Serve burgers with potato chips.
