Ingredients for the recipe:
- 1/2 tbsp. olive oil and a little more in the pan
- 2 tbsp. l chopped garlic (6 cloves)
- 2.3 liters small cherry tomatoes or grape tomatoes
- 18 large stripped basil leaves
- 2 tbsp. l chopped curly parsley
- 2 tsp chopped thyme leaves
- 1 tsp ground black pepper
- 1/2 tsp crushed red pepper flakes
- 340 gr dry cappellini or angel hair paste
- 1.5 tbsp. grated parmesan
- Chopped basil and grated parmesan for sprinkling

Recipe preparation:
- Bring a large pot of water to a boil and add 2 Art. l salt and a little olive mala.
- Meanwhile, in a large (30-centimeter) gravy boat, warm 1/2 tbsp. olive oil. Add garlic to oil and sauté on medium heat for 30 seconds. Add tomatoes, basil, parsley, thyme, 2 tsp salt, pepper and red pepper flakes. Reduce heat to medium low and cook for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally until the tomatoes begin to soften, but will remain intact.
- While the tomatoes are cooking, add to the pot of boiling water cappellini and cook them for 2 minutes or as indicated on packaging. Drain the pasta, leaving a little cooking water.
- Put the paste in a large serving bowl, add the tomatoes and parmesan and mix well. Add some cooking water from paste if the paste seems too dry. Serve the pasta in a bowl, sprinkled with basil and serve in a separate bowl Parmesan.
