- Wash our oranges. Cut the bottom and top of the orange, do several cuts across the slices and remove the peel. Remove inner white part, cut the peel. Then soak the peel in cold water for 1.5-2 hours.
- Heat 2 cups of water, bring to a boil and add sugar, boil until sugar is completely dissolved.
- Pour our crusts and cook until soft on low heat, about 30 minutes.
- We take out the crusts from the syrup with a slotted spoon or sieve, cut thin straws, roll our crusts in sugar and spread on a paper-covered baking sheet or tray. Leave them to dry on in the air.
- We store dried candied fruits in a tightly closed jar.
