  • 2 tsp lemon juice and zest of half a lemon
  • Shredded red pepper flakes

Recipe preparation:

  1. Preheat the oven to 200 ° C. Cut the ends of the stems at the inflorescences Brussels sprouts and cut the inflorescences in half. Put in a bowl medium size and mix with 1 tsp. salt.
  2. Lay strips of bacon next to each other on a working surface. Lubricate with about half maple syrup, then cut diagonally in half. Wrap each slice of cabbage one a strip of bacon, greased with the syrup side out, so that the seam ended up on the flat side.   3. Combine mayonnaise, most of the lemon zest and all the juice in a small serving bowl. Sprinkle on top of the remaining zest. Pour in about 0.5 tbsp. syrup in another bowl and add black pepper and red pepper flakes to taste. Put the cabbage on and serve with mayonnaise sauce and pepper syrup.
