  • 6 garlic cloves, peeled
  • 2 large French baguettes, sliced into thick slices 2.5 cm (approximately 36 slices)
  • 0.7 kg mozzarella, sliced 1 cm thick.

Recipe preparation:

  1. Preheat the oven to 190 ° C.
  2. In a bowl of a food processor, put tomatoes, 1 tbsp. leaves basil, olive oil and 2 cloves of garlic. Grind to obtaining a uniform thick paste. Salt and pepper over to taste.
  3. Put slices of baguette on a baking sheet. Roast in the oven for 3 minutes or until light golden brown. Working fast grate the roasted side of each slice with the remaining garlic, and then lay a piece of mozzarella cheese on top.
