- 4 tbsp. boiled water
- Some apple cider vinegar
- A little hot sauce
- Salt and Freshly Ground Peppers
For Cajun seasoning:
- 2 tbsp sweet spanish paprika
- 1 tbsp chili powder (seasoning recipe see here)
- 1 tbsp garlic powder
- 1 tbsp onion powder
- 1 tbsp ground coriander
- 1 tbsp dried thyme
- 1 tbsp dried oregano
- 1 tbsp ground black pepper
- 1 tsp cayenne pepper
- 1/4 tsp cumin (optional)

Recipe preparation:
- Heat fat from bacon in a large skillet over medium heat, put the bacon on paper towels to absorb excess fat. Add chopped onion and 2 tsp to the pan with fat. Cajun seasoning, fry, stirring, 5 min. Then add chopped kale in portions, and fry a little.
- Pour the chicken stock and water into the pan and bring to a boil. Reduce temperature and simmer until greens become soft, about 2 hours. Stir in hot sauce and fried bacon. Sprinkle with apple cider vinegar, salt and season with ground pepper over to taste.
