Biscuit “Ratatouille”
Many keep the fast, but expect it with some disappointment and someone even tries to eat too much for the future, not believing that lean dishes can be tasty and varied. A delicious recipe that requires patience
The aroma of a delicious dish that is considered rustic, but served in many fashionable restaurants around the world all home kitchen. The main advantage of “Ratatouille” is the possibility of it eating fasting without remorse. The special taste of the dish achieved by combining all the components used, and also a method of laying vegetables at the time of their preparation.
The main ingredients:
- vegetable oil and water – 1/3 cup;
- salt – ½ teaspoon;
- zucchini, tomato, bell pepper – 1 pc.;
- chili pepper – 1/3 pcs.;
- olive oil, parsley and sauce – to taste;
- garlic – 2 cloves;
- flour – 165 g;
- sauce – preparing;
- thyme and olives to taste.
Cooking method
Sift flour and salt into a bowl. Pour in vegetable oil stirring constantly. Also add water in 2-3 runs. Hand-knit elastic dough. Wrap in cling film and send for 30 minutes in the refrigerator.
With red pepper you need to remove the skin in any known manner. The main thing is that the pepper remains intact. After peeling cut into small pieces. Peel the tomato (do cross incision in the upper part and scald with boiling water), after which cut it, like zucchini in round shapes.
Next, prepare the sauce. I wash one onion and finely and finely cut, then fry in olive oil. Take a little red bell pepper, cut it and with chili pepper send to the onion, then stir and simmer for about 5 minutes. We take the tomato without a peel, finely chop it and put it on the onion roast. All this is stewed for several minutes (5-7), after which it is salted, peppered to taste, a little bit of parsley and thyme is added and whipped in a blender.
We take out the finished dough from the refrigerator and roll the tesla into neat circle. You can use the form, and in its absence do the usual baking sheet. We cover the last with baking paper and put the rolled dough on it.
Grease the dough with sauce, stepping back from the edge about 5 cm. Starting with mid-dough overlapping in a spiral alternating vegetables, lay them out. We also do not bring it to the edge somewhere around 5 cm. Slightly add vegetables and bend the edges. Put in the oven for 30-35 minutes at a temperature 1800C.
Finely chop the garlic, olives, parsley, thyme and mix with olive oil. We take out our biscuit from the oven, grease the resulting mixture and send back another 15 minutes.
Tasty options: you can add eggplant to the dish.
