Dressing / marinade

  • 3/4 Art. rapeseed oil
  • 3 tbsp. l red wine vinegar
  • 1 tbsp. l balsamic vinegar
  • 2 tbsp. l lime juice
  • 2 tbsp. l + 1 tsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp. l Worcester sauce
  • 0.5 tsp vegetable oil with chili
  • 2 tbsp. l Sahara
  • 1 tbsp. l chopped fresh ginger
  • 3 garlic cloves, peeled and minced
  • 1 tsp coarse salt
  • Ground black pepper
  • 2 whole ribeye steaks 2.5 cm thick., Cut off excess fat

  • 2 whole onions
  • 2 tbsp. yogurt or kefir
  • 2 tbsp. flour
  • 1 tbsp. l coarse salt

Recipe preparation:

  1. Dressing / marinade. Mix the oil in a jar with a lid, both vinegar, lime juice, soy sauce, Worcester sauce, chili oil, sugar, ginger, garlic, salt and black pepper. Shake vigorously to combine the ingredients. Taste and if necessary add salt.
  2. Put the steak in a ziplock plastic bag. Pour half the marinade and seal. Marinate the meat for 5-10 minutes.
  3. Cut the onions into very thin rings. Put in the form for baking, fill in yogurt and soak. Mix flour, salt, cayenne and black pepper.
  4. Heat vegetable oil in a large saucepan to 190 ° C. Take a handful of onions, roll in flour mixture, shake off excess and dip in hot oil. Fry for several minutes and transfer to a paper towel as soon as the onion turns golden. Repeat the same until all the onions are fried.
  5. Grill steaks or fry in a moderately strong pan heat until lightly cooked, about 2 minutes on each side. Remove from heat and set aside. Cut the steak against the fibers into thin slices.
  6. Salad. In a large bowl, put the salad mixture, blue cheese and tomatoes. Add a little remaining dressing and mix, to evenly coat the salad with it. Add more if necessary refueling.
  7. Arrange the salad in plates so that each serving contains a lot of blue cheese and tomatoes. Lay on top half chopped steak and garnish each serving with onion rings.
