Beef with two kinds of cabbage: video recipe

I’ll say right away, I just love delicious stewed sour cabbage, like served in German restaurants with sausages, meat and shank. If not so love acid, then reduce the amount of sauerkraut (or remove it completely) and rinse it with cold water. I didn’t even wring it from brine during cooking, as love so sour option.

  1. We cut beef lightly.
  2. Fry over high heat for a couple of minutes.
  3. Spread the onion, fry for a couple of minutes. We also come from carrots.
  4. Salt and pepper.
  5. Pour boiling water and simmer under the lid over a minimum heat of 30 minutes.
  6. Add both types of cabbage. If the water has completely evaporated, add some more. And simmer under the lid for about 10 minutes.
  7. We try and add salt, pepper, and laurel to taste leaf, dried or fresh herbs.
  8. Stew until tender. In total, I stewed cabbage about 30-40 minutes. Enjoy your meal!
