- 500 gr. beef flank steak
- 3 tsp chili powder (mix of spices with chili recipe see here)
- Salt
- 1 tbsp. l olive oil
- 4 tbsp. Shredded Red Cabbage
- 2 tbsp. l freshly squeezed lime juice
- 2 tbsp. l mayonnaise
- 4 tbsp. l chopped fresh cilantro or parsley
- 1/2 small onion, chop finely
- 1 tbsp. l tomato paste
- 1 tbsp. lightly salted chicken stock
- 450 gr black bean

Recipe preparation:
- Cook a steak: grate meat 2 tsp. chili powder and 3/4 tsp salt. Heat in a pan 1/2 tbsp. l olive oil. Put the meat and fry at a moderately high temperature, approximately 5 minutes from each side. Steak is medium roasted.
- Meanwhile, cook the cabbage salad: mix in salad bowl cabbage, lime juice, mayonnaise, 2 tbsp. l cilantro, 1 tsp chili powder, season with salt to taste. Chill salad before serving on the table.
- Put the steak on a cutting board and leave for 10 minutes. Add in the same pan, the remaining 1/2 tbsp. l olive oil and heat to medium temperature. Add onion, tomato paste and fry, stirring until onion is soft, 2 – 3 min. Add Chicken stock and beans, bring to a boil. Beans knead a little spoon and continue cooking, about 4 minutes more. Add 2 Art. l cilantro and add to taste.
- Cut the steak into slices across the fibers. Fork steak by plates, next to put black beans. Serve steak with cabbage salad.
