I love porridge very much and have recently fallen in love with them, what a pity that not before. With the birth of her daughter, she switched to proper nutrition. It is important for lactating mothers, especially at the very beginning. I bought myself a lot of different porridge. But something was missing for me. Therefore, every porridge I trying to diversify. Here is a variant of delicious barley porridge with roasting, which you can easily cook at home yourself! Vegetables help make the dish even more healthy.

  1. Prepare the products.
  2. I used barley porridge in a bag. In boiling salted boil 2 sachets in water for 20 minutes.
  3. Put the prepared barley porridge on a plate.
  4. Prepare the vegetables. Cut the onion as small as possible.
  5. Peel the carrots and grate on a fine grater.
  6. Pour the vegetable oil into the pan and heat it well. Fry the onion.
  7. Add carrots to the onion and fry for another 5 minutes, constantly stirring.
  8. Add a glass of water, mix everything and add salt.
  9. Add porridge to the frying, mix thoroughly and cook on slow fire for 3 minutes.
  10. Cover with a lid and let it brew for 10 minutes.
