Barley porridge with meat, mushrooms and vegetables

Pearl barley in itself is very useful, but in combination barley porridge with beef and mushrooms, as in this recipe, also insanely delicious. Try to cook it at home!

  1. Pearl barley must be soaked in the evening in a large amount of cold water, pre-rinsing. Morning cereal rinse again, add water and boil until cooked according to packing instructions.
  2. Rinse the beef, cut into small pieces, fry until blush on vegetable oil, pour in water and simmer for about an hour.
  3. When the meat is almost ready, wash and cut the mushrooms and toss them in pan to beef. Cook for another 15 minutes.
  4. During this time, we prepare the onions and carrots: finely chop the onions, peel the carrots and cut into strips or three on a grater (each desire).
  5. We add peas to the last of vegetables, and in a couple of minutes mix meat and vegetables with boiled barley. Remove from heat and serve to the table.
