Baked shrimp with rosemary and lemon in garlic butter oven

Try shrimp in oil sauce and make it look like this as delicious as in the best restaurants it’s not necessary to have special culinary skills. It’s all about the right combination of ingredients. Just fry in butter garlic, rosemary and seasoning, pour sauce shrimp, cover with lemon slices and bake them for few minutes in the oven. The shrimp sauce is fantastic creamy and spicy taste, and lemon will only emphasize it. Such a dish fits perfectly with pasta or serve it with a slice of crispy bread and a glass of white wine. Ingredients for the recipe:

  • 900 gr. shrimp with tails (8-10 pcs.), peeled shell
  • 110 gr. butter
  • 2 tbsp. l olive oil
  • 2 tbsp. l chopped garlic (6 cloves)
  • 2 tsp chopped fresh rosemary leaves
  • 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes
  • 2 large lemons
  • 1 tsp coarse sea salt
  • 4 slices of rustic bread toasted

Recipe preparation:

  1. Preheat the oven to 200 ° C.
  2. Melt the butter over low heat in a pan 25 cm in diameter. Add olive oil, garlic, rosemary, cereal red pepper, 1 tsp. coarse-grained salt and 0.5 tsp. black pepper and fry over low heat for one minute. Then turn off the stove and rub the zest of one of the lemons directly into the oil mixture.
  3. Meanwhile, in a large frying pan, shrimp tightly in one layer so that only the tails are lapped. Choose the right one a pan with a diameter of 30 cm (or a baking dish of 25×32 cm), so that it can be used in the oven.
  4. Pour the shrimp with fragrant oil. Sprinkle with sea salt and 0.5 tsp black pepper. Cut the ends of the lemon from which the zest was removed, cut five slices (0.5 cm thick) and place them between shrimp.
  5. Bake for 12-15 minutes until the shrimp solid and pink. Cut the remaining lemon in half and squeeze juice on shrimp. Serve the prawns hot with toasted bread for dipping into garlic oil.
