- Grind the leaves of sage and cloves of garlic with a knife, mix with butter and salt. We get a homogeneous mass.
- Wash the chicken and dry it with a paper towel. Hands carefully grease the chicken on all sides with a garlic-sage oil mass. Put a few leaves of sage and 3 cloves of garlic inside the chicken. Legs of the chicken carcass fold crosswise and fix the culinary thread.
- Peel the potatoes from the skins and apples from the core. we cut apples, potatoes and sweet potato.
- We heat the oven to 210 degrees. Put the chicken on a baking sheet. Around the chicken we spread the apple, potatoes and sweet potato, sprinkled with olive oil, salt and pepper. We send baking sheet in the oven for 1 hour.
- Cooking pomegranate sauce. Pour pomegranate juice into a small pan, add pepper. Boil and then over low heat. warm the liquid for about 15 minutes to form a thick syrup.
- 15 minutes before cooking, remove the pan from the oven and pour chicken pomegranate syrup on top (half from amount cooked) using a brush evenly distribute the syrup over the entire surface of the bird carcass. Return baking sheet in the oven.
- We take out the finished chicken from the oven, cool it for 10-12 minutes. Serve with baked apple, sweet potato and potatoes, watering the remaining pomegranate syrup and, if desired, sprinkling chopped herbs or pomegranate seeds.
