Baked apples with bacon and maple cream

Baked apples are stuffed with crispy crumble.

Apples sprinkled with sweet and salted oatmeal, cinnamon and bacon and baked until soft and golden. Served with maple cream.

  • 3 tbsp. l flour

  • 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 strip of bacon, chopped
  • 1 tbsp. l (15 gr.) Butter
  • 2 apples, core
  • 1/3 Art. fat cream
  • 2 tbsp. l maple syrup
  • Mint leaves for decoration (optional)

Recipe preparation:

  1. Preheat the oven to 180 ° C. Put the oatmeal, flour, sugar, cinnamon and bacon in a food processor and stir until bacon will not be finely chopped, and the ingredients will mix well. Add oil and stir until it mixes.
  2. Put the filling in apples and place in a small mold for baking. Add about 1 cm. Of water to the pan and then bake about 45 minutes until the apples are soft and the filling – golden brown (cover with foil if top starts cooking too fast).
