Recipe preparation:
- Preheat the oven to 200 degrees. Separate the asparagus in bunches over 12 pieces Wrap 1 piece of bacon tightly around each bunch, starting at about 2 cm from the bottom of the tips. Fasten a toothpick with asparagus wrapped in bacon. Put asparagus in low baking dish.
- In a medium saucepan, mix brown sugar, butter, soy sauce, garlic salt and pepper. Bring the mixture to a boil. Pour the hot sugar mixture into bunches of asparagus.
