  • 4 large eggs
  • 4 onions, finely chopped
  • 1.5 tsp baking powder
  • 2 tsp Sahara
  • 1 tsp salt
  • Pinch of cayenne pepper

For garnish:

  • 500 gr. tomato
  • 2 tbsp. l olive oil
  • 3 tbsp. l chopped fresh herbs (mint, parsley)
  • Coarse salt and freshly ground black pepper

Recipe preparation:

  1. Fry the bacon in a skillet until crisp. Remove slices of bacon with a slotted spoon and lay on paper towels. Grease a baking dish with melted fat (small form with 6 rectangular recesses). Sprinkle indentations flour.

  4. Preheat oven to 160 ° C. To the lowest part of the oven put a baking sheet. Place the prepared baking dish on a baking sheet. Pour the dough into the mold. Bake until corn casserole does not rise and does not get golden crust, about 50 minutes Allow to stand for at least 10 minutes.
  5. Mix tomatoes with olive oil and herbs, season salt and pepper to taste. Allow to stand for at least 5 minutes.
  6. Serve bacon corn casserole with tomatoes.
