  • 4 oranges
  • 4 red oranges
  • A slice (2.5 – 3 cm.) Of ginger, finely chopped
  • 3 tbsp. l honey
  • 2 apples (red and green)

Recipe preparation:

  1. Prepare oranges: peel oranges, remove the white core, and split into segments, then cut film and remove the seeds. Put peeled oranges in a salad bowl. Of the remaining film squeeze the juice into a separate bowl (it should turn out about a glass of orange juice). Leave the juice for syrup.
  2. In a small saucepan, prepare orange syrup: bring orange juice, honey and ginger to a boil. Turn down temperature to medium and cook until thick, about 8 – 10 min. Cool the syrup completely, remove the ginger.
  3. Prepare apples: cut into 4 parts, remove core with seeds. Cut apples into thin slices, and put in a salad bowl to oranges.
  4. Sprinkle apple and orange salad with syrup.
