And to make it even more useful, mix equal flour and whole grain in equal proportions. Its rich taste is better manifested if sprinkled before baking buns with black pepper, thyme, poppy seeds, flax seeds, sesame seeds or other spices to choose from. Recipe preparation:

  1. Preheat the oven to 220 ° C. Cover the parchment baking sheet paper.
  2. In a large bowl, mix both types of flour, baking powder, sugar, 0.5 tsp salt and 1/4 tsp pepper. Hands or a dough knife stir in the butter until the mixture resembles a shallow peas.
  3. Add milk and mix. Gently knead the dough and form a ball. Hands flatten it into a thick rectangle 2.5 cm. Cut into 24 squares measuring 4 cm. And lay on prepared pan at a distance of about 2 cm. each from friend. Sprinkle on top 1/4 tsp. salt and pepper.
  4. Bake until golden, about 20 minutes. Cool on pan and serve the buns warm. Note You can also instead of pepper on top sprinkle with 0.5 tsp. dried thyme and 1/4 tsp salts and further bake according to the recipe. Or, instead of pepper, sprinkle on top of 0.5 tsp. a mixture of seeds of fennel, poppy, sesame and 1/4 tsp. salt and bake.
