Cole Slow

  • 1 head of Napa cabbage (Beijing cabbage) or Savoy cabbage, chopped
  • 4 carrots, grated
  • 2 green Granny Smith apples, thinly sliced
  • 1 medium red onion, thinly sliced half rings
  • 1 tbsp. pecans, toasted and chopped
  • 1 bunch of mint, only leaves for decoration

Spicy orange dressing

  • 1 tbsp. l Dijon mustard
  • 1 tbsp. l hot water
  • 1/3 Art. olive oil
  • 1 tsp Sahara
  • 0.5 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 0.5 tsp ground zira
  • Juice 1 orange
  • 0.5 tbsp. sour cream

Recipe preparation:

  1. In a large salad bowl, add cabbage, carrots, apples, onions and pecans. Mix everything thoroughly.
  2. Combine mustard and water in a small bowl. Then intervene whisk olive oil, sugar, cayenne pepper, zira, orange juice and sour cream. Try it if necessary salt and pepper.
  3. Pour dressing with cabbage salad, mix well and transfer to a serving dish. Garnish with mint leaves.
