Strawberry sauce

Recipe for strawberry sauce for ice cream, pancakes, fritters or various desserts. Strawberries are boiled with sugar, water and lemon juice.   • 3 tbsp. strawberries, finely chopped
  • 1/2 tbsp. Sahara
  • Juice 1/2 Lemon
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Recipe preparation:

  1. In a saucepan, mix strawberries, sugar, lemon juice and 2 tbsp. l water. Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, about 10 minutes until the berries soften. Remove from heat and add vanilla extract. Rub strawberries in a bowl through a fine sieve and cool completely. If you want to keep this sauce, cover cover and put in the refrigerator. It can be stored up to 4 days.
