Cook 1 tbsp. rye cereals in boiling salt water until ready, about 1 hour. Drain, transfer to a bowl and cool. Add 1 tbsp. thinly chopped red cabbage and 1 tbsp. celery and 1/2 tbsp. chopped pastrami (raw smoked beef, or substitute turkey meat). Mix 3 tbsp. l apple cider vinegar and whole grain mustard and 1/3 tbsp. olive oil; add to groats. Season the salad with salt and pepper.
