  • water 2-2.5 cups
  • sugar 2.5 cups
  • cardamom 5-6 boxes
  • clove 2 pcs
  • laurel 1 pc
  • allspice 12 pcs
  • wine red vinegar 1 cup
  • citric acid pinch
  • salt pinch

You can make cherries in the marinade So:

Go through the berries, rinse well and free from pitted.

Arrange prepared fruits in warm, sterilized jars (0.5l), lay the cherry leaves on top.

Pour the hot marinade through the neck strainer.

Prepare the marinade like this:

Boil water, add spices, salt and sugar, 2 leaves cherries. Boil the marinade 10 minutes after boiling. Pour red wine vinegar and add a pinch of “lemon”, bring the marinade to boil and remove from heat.

Sterilize jars filled with marinade in boiling water for 5-7 minutes, then roll up the screw caps. Cool at room temperature.
