Recipe preparation:
- Heat the water in a large saucepan, but do not bring it to a boil. Add tea, lemon zest, lemon juice and ginger and hold while boil for one minute.
- Then add sugar and honey and bring to a boil again. Add pears and cover the surface of the liquid with parchment paper. (so that the water covers the pears – otherwise they will hold on the surface) and cook for 5 minutes.
- Remove the pan from the heat, but do not remove the pears from the liquid. Cool the pears in syrup until they are ready to serve. table.
- Pears can be served separately with ice cream (or yogurt on breakfast), also the syrup can be evaporated to glaze and served with pears to the cake.
