Pancakes with Pasta and Cheese

A popular American dish, Mac and Cheese – pasta in cheese sauce – very tasty when they were just cooked. But the next day leftovers become less appetizing. But of them you can prepare a hearty and delicious pancake breakfast. Knead your usual dough for pancakes or fritters and interfere there pasta mass. Fry in a pan, sprinkling even more cheese. Ingredients for the recipe:

  • 2 tbsp. ready-made pasta with cheese, cold or roomy temperature
  • 110 gr. butter and optionally for serving
  • 1/3 Art. maple syrup
  • 1/4 Art. spicy buffalo sauce
  • 2.5 tbsp. ready-made dough for pancakes
  • 0.5 tbsp. grated spicy cheddar

Recipe preparation:

  1. In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt 4 tbsp. l (60 gr.) butter. Turn off the heat and stir in the maple syrup and spicy sauce. Salt. Cover so that the sauce does not cool.
  2. Gently mix the pasta and cheese into the pancake dough. On moderate heat, heat a large non-stick pan coated. Add 1 tbsp. l (15 gr.) Butter and twist pan to cover with oil.
  3. Fry in batches of 3 pancakes, put in a pan about 1/3 Art. test. Use the back of the spoon to slightly distribute the dough, making sure that between the pancakes is enough spaces so that they do not touch. Sprinkle over 2 tbsp. l cheddar on top of each pancake, pressing the cheese to the back test side of the spoon. Fry until the pancakes are browned, and around the edges there will be few bubbles, about 3 minutes.
  4. Turn the pancakes over and fry until the cheese is completely will melt and not brown, about 2 minutes.
  5. Gently wipe the pan and repeat the same with the remaining dough and cheddar, adding 1 tbsp. l (15 gr.) butter in a pan before each new batch.
  6. Serve the pancakes in stacks of 3 pieces, watering the remaining ones on top butter and spicy sauce with maple syrup.
