Ingredients for the recipe:

  • 3 whole skinless boneless chicken breasts
  • 1 tsp chili powder

  • 3 tbsp. lightly salted chicken broth (or more if you like a thinner soup)
  • 1 can 425 gr. black beans, drain the liquid, beans rinse
  • 1 can of 283 gr. canned tomatoes with chili peppers, diced
  • 120 gr. tomato paste
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1 red bell pepper, peeled and chopped
  • 1 yellow bell pepper, peeled and chopped
  • 1 canned pepper, canned in adobo sauce
  • Half lime juice
  • For serving: avocado, sour cream, grated cheese, crushed tortilla chips and fresh cilantro leaves

Recipe preparation:

  1. Put the chicken in the slow cooker. Sprinkle chili powder, zira, salt and pepper.
