Trifle – a dish of English cuisine, widespread in Scotland, USA. It is a choux pastry dessert cream, fruit juice or jelly and whipped cream. Usually, the ingredients are arranged in a layered layer. Very first recipe treifla was a thick cream, with sugar, ginger and pink water and dates from the late 16th century. In this recipe, trifle consists of alternating layers of biscuit dough, lemon custard, a layer and a mixture of strawberries, blueberries and ежевики. - 4 lemons, grate the zest and squeeze the juice
- 110 gr. butter, cut into pieces
- 550 ml. fresh strawberries, tear off ponytails and cut in half along
- 550 ml. fresh blueberries
- 550 ml. fresh blackberry
- 2 tbsp. whipped cream with sugar
- 1 ready-made lemon pound muffin, cut into slices
- 1/4 Art. Limoncello or Grand Marnier liquor (optional)
- Fresh mint leaves for decoration

Recipe preparation:
- Cooking Lemon Cream: Bring a pan of water to low boil over medium-low heat. In metal or in a heat-resistant glass bowl, mix the egg yolks, sugar, whisk lemon juice and zest until smooth. Set the bowl above a pot of boiling water so that its bottom does not touch the water, and keep whipping. Keep vigorously whisking for 10 minutes, until the cream doubles in volume and becomes very thick and yellow. Do not let the cream boil. Remove the bowl from heating and drive the creamy little, a couple of slices at a time, until it will melt. Refrigerate until the cream has cooled and hardens.
- Assembling the trifle: put the berries in a bowl and mix them together so that they are evenly distributed. In lemon cream add whipped cream to make it lighter the consistency of the mousse. Put slices at the bottom of the tri-bowl cupcake. Sprinkle or grease a limoncello cupcake, spoon a layer lemon cream and then a layer of berry mixture. Repeat layers until don’t use up all the ingredients, the tribal will look prettier, if the top layer is made from berries. Chill before serving. Garnish with fresh mint.
