In a large bowl, combine syrup, a mixture of gelatin and the seeds of two vanilla pods. Whisk with a mixer at medium speed to a thick and airy consistency, about 6 minutes. Put the mixture in the prepared form and smooth using a spatula. Sprinkle with the remaining corn starch mixture. Let the marshmallows dry overnight at room temperature, then cut into squares.
