Halo Halo or Haluhalo (“Mixed”) – Popular Filipino dessert with crushed ice and condensed milk, to which is added various ingredients, including boiled sweet beans, coconut, sago, gulaman (jelly from agar-agar), tubers and fruits.

Time: 45 мин. Difficulty: Easy Portions: 4 V recipes use measured containers with a volume of: 1 glass (tbsp.) – 240 ml 3/4 cup (st.) – 180 ml. 1/2 cup (tbsp.) – 120 ml. 1/3 cups (st.) – 80 ml. 1/4 cup (st.) – 60 ml. 1 tablespoon (tbsp. l.) – 15 ml. 1 teaspoon (tsp) – 5 ml.
Ingredients for the recipe:
- 1 can (400 gr.) Coconut milk, shake well
- 1 tbsp. slices of dried unsweetened mango, chopped
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 2 tbsp. coconut water
- 2 large stalks of lemongrass (trim 2.5 cm. From below, 20 cm. top and remove the outer layer), cut into pieces of 2.5 cm.
- 2 fresh or frozen kaffir lime leaves (not dried)
- 1/2 fresh red Thai chili pepper, cut along in half
- 1/4 Art. sweetened condensed milk
- 8 tbsp. ice chips (ideally from a special machine for planed ice)
- 1 tbsp. cooked large balls of tapioca
- 1 tbsp. Macapuno pulp (a type of coconut)
- 1 tbsp. dried nata de coco (fermented jelly coconut water)
- 1 tbsp. assorted fresh fruits such as pineapple, blueberries, mangoes, banana and lychee, coarsely chopped if necessary
- 1 tbsp. sweet cereal breakfast

Recipe preparation:
- Cook the mango. In a small stewpan, combine coconut milk, mango and salt with 1/4 tbsp. water; over high heat bring to a slight boil. Reduce the heat and simmer for 20 minutes, until the mango will not become soft, but will still keep in shape. Give cool, cover and keep in the refrigerator until cool, no more than 2 h
- Make tea. In a small saucepan, mix coconut water, lemongrass, lime leaves and chili pepper, bring to high heat to a boil. Turn off the fire, cover and let infuse the mixture for 20 minutes. Strain by pressing the mixture to the sieve, then throw away the cake. Add the condensed milk, stir until homogeneity. Cover and refrigerate no more than 2 h
- Make a halo halo. Lay out right before serving layers in 4 bowls or tall wide glasses of ice, mixed with mango, tapioku, macapuno, nata de coco, fresh fruit and a dry breakfast. On pour milk lemongrass tea into each serving.
