Green Papaya Salad (Catfish)

Ingredients for the recipe:

  • 2 large green papaya (450 g each), peeled peel and seed and chopped into thin strips
  • 220 gr green string beans
  • 3 Tomatoes Cream
  • 0.5 tbsp. roasted unsalted peanuts
  • 1/4 Art. thai fish sauce
  • 1/4 Art. lemon juice
  • 1/4 Art. lime juice
  • 2 tbsp. l Sahara
  • 1 tsp chopped garlic
  • 2 tsp red pepper flakes
  • 1/4 Art. coarsely chopped cilantro leaves

Recipe preparation:

  1. In a large pan, bring salted water to a boil. Add the beans and cook for 2 minutes, then transfer to cold water. Drain and cut each pod in half. Cut cut the tomatoes in half lengthwise and peel them from the seeds. Cut the halves into strips 0.3 cm thick. Coarsely chop all but 2 peanuts Art. l
  2. In a bowl, mix papaya with beans, tomatoes, chopped peanuts, fish sauce, lemon and lime juice, sugar, garlic, red pepper flakes and 3 tbsp. l cilantro. Sprinkle on top the remaining peanuts and cilantro. Serve with Thai barbecue “Satay” from pork.
